Privacy Policy, Terms and Conditions

1. Scope
These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as the TERMS) apply to the services of Anna & Herbert Teissel (hereinafter referred to as the LANDLORD) commissioned by the client (hereinafter referred to as the GUEST).
Only these TERMS shall apply to the contract. Other terms shall not become part of the contract even if they are not expressly rejected. Any deviations from these TERMS require the LANDLORD’s express written approval.
The TERMS published on www.holidaysingreece.de, www.greecevacation.net and myholidaysingreece.com shall always be the valid version.
2. Contracting parties, conclusion of contract and liability
The contract is concluded when the GUEST places the order for the offer with the LANDLORD by email/PDF.
By placing the order by email/PDF, the GUEST accepts these TERMS.

3. Services, prices and payment4. Offers, options and available dates
The LANDLORD is obliged to provide the services agreed in the contract.
The GUEST is obliged to pay the agreed prices to the LANDLORD. This also applies to services and expenses paid by the LANDLORD to third parties in connection with the stay.
For agreed net prices in business transactions, the applicable value-added tax must be added. Agreed gross prices for private customers include statutory VAT.
The prices stated on the LANDLORD’s website are gross prices.
Invoices are due without deduction within 10 days of receipt of the invoice, but in all cases before arrival. Invoices are delivered by email. If the invoice is not paid before arrival, the LANDLORD will automatically terminate the contract and the GUEST must bear the costs specified in Section 6.
The LANDLORD is entitled to request an appropriate advance payment at any time. The amount of the advance payment and payment dates must be agreed in writing by email.
In the event of late payment or objectively substantiated doubts regarding the GUEST’s ability to pay, the LANDLORD is entitled to refuse to provide the services.
If the billing address differs from the address stated in previous correspondence, the correct billing address or invoice recipient must be communicated to the LANDLORD in good time. The GUEST bears the consequences of delay caused by a change of billing address not communicated in time, unless the GUEST was not at fault.
4. Offers, options and available dates
Unless otherwise agreed, offers from the LANDLORD are generally valid for seven working days and are non-binding. Options on specific dates expire at the end of these seven working days.
If the GUEST is informed of available dates, this only reflects the booking status at the time the information is provided and does not guarantee that a date will remain available.
5. Number of participants and event arrangements
The GUEST is required to state the number of participants to the LANDLORD when placing the order.
Any changes to the number of participants must be communicated to the LANDLORD in writing.
Increases or reductions in the number of participants or the duration of the event are possible no later than seven working days before arrival.
6. Withdrawal from the contract
Either party may terminate the contract for good cause. However, this requires that a written request to remedy the good cause has first been issued with a reasonable deadline and that this deadline has expired without remedy. In the event of termination for good cause by the LANDLORD or withdrawal for reasons attributable to the GUEST, the right to terminate the contract applies. The right to claim further damages is not excluded.
If the GUEST withdraws from the contract after signing without good cause, the LANDLORD is entitled to charge cancellation fees according to the following scale, with the time at which the withdrawal notice is received being decisive:
1. up to 8 weeks before the event: free of charge
2. from 8 weeks to 4 weeks before arrival: 25% of the total amount according to the current cost estimate
3. from 4 weeks to 14 days before arrival: 50% of the total amount according to the current cost estimate
4. thereafter: 75% of the total amount according to the current cost estimate
Withdrawal by the GUEST from a valid contract must be made in writing and will be confirmed by the LANDLORD.
The LANDLORD may withdraw from the contract if
1. circumstances for which the LANDLORD is not responsible (e.g. force majeure) make adherence to the contract impossible or unreasonable, or if performance of the contract could endanger the LANDLORD’s public reputation or employees. In such cases, the GUEST has no claim for damages.
2. agreed advance payments are not received on time. If services are not provided for this reason, the GUEST is not released from the payment obligation.

In the case of justified defects, the LANDLORD has the right to remedy the defect. If the attempt to remedy it fails and the defect is only minor, the GUEST may request only a price reduction. Withdrawal from the contract is excluded in this respect.
The warranty does not cover defects caused by natural wear and tear, moisture, excessive heat or improper use by the GUEST.
8. Liability of the LANDLORD
If, due to fault on the part of the LANDLORD, the rental property cannot be used by the GUEST in accordance with the contract as a result of omitted or defective implementation of proposals and advice given before or after conclusion of the contract, or due to breach of other ancillary contractual obligations, the following rules apply to the exclusion of further claims by the GUEST: For damage not occurring to the rental property itself, the LANDLORD is liable, regardless of the legal basis, only
in cases of intent,
in cases of gross negligence by the LANDLORD,

In the event of culpable breach of essential contractual obligations, the LANDLORD is also liable in cases of gross negligence.
Further claims are excluded.
The GUEST is obliged to inform the LANDLORD in good time of the possibility of exceptionally high damage occurring.
